The Coconut is cut, the coconut pulp is removed and the outside and insides are well polished, washed and treated, so that the smell is neutralized. The shells are then segregated according to their volumes. They are dipped in 4% food-grade Chlorine solution and once again washed in fresh clean water. The shells are dried naturally and they are packed. Once processing is over the coconut shells are extremely clean and hygienic. The shells are free of any pulp, dust or smell.
Our Coconut shell will be free from any contaminants, pesticides or plant pathogens, as we are very strict about our quality.
2 years from date of packing, stored at ideal, clean and dry conditions.
Once processed our shells are stored in a clean, dry and well ventilated room, protected from the sun.
The shell retains its original colour – Brown, after the processing is completed.
The Coconut shells are neatly packed in cartoon boxes lined with food grade polyethylene bags.
